Ok, so day 1 is complete. Fit Test. I knew within the first 10 minutes that I was in trouble. It is hard and designed for athletes which I am most certainly NOT. The good thing is you can rest, you can stop, and you can go at your own pace. Because my back is a bit on the rocky side, I will be doing ALL of those things.
FOOD. Dear LORD. Eating 5 meals a day IS HARD! Protein is essential when doing a workout as intensive as this program so you are pretty much eating meat all day long. By dinner time I was about to puke. So as hard as the exercises are, I think the food will be my biggest obstacle.
So today is Plyometric Cardio Circuit. I am not feeling horribly sore but I feel like today and the days ahead will be a struggle until my body figures out what I am trying to do to it.

Shipped. 1 week and counting!
So, this is it. My INSANITY workout hell arrives on October 21st. I have to start eating 5 GOOD meals a day, waking up early to work out and getting my body [title of show] ready. I am scared, ready, excited, and just all around looking forward to this crazy and intense 60 day workout. I have to, of course, take before pictures and embarrass myself further but hopefully the pay off will be worth it. I think I will do a new picture every 15 days so there will be 4 pictures total. Maybe. I am playing this by ear. I may even utilize my webcam and do some video blogs. I hope you all stick with me and help me when I feel like giving up. Thanks and see you soon!!!

60 days starts... SOON.
This will be my mission for the next 60 days. The Insanity Challenge. 60 days of PURE and insane cardio. I will blog about my experience and hopefully, in the end, share a glorious and holy crap she is hot transformation at the end.
I have decided to use a public forum because I need to hold myself accountable. No excuses, no more procrastinating. Now is the time for CHANGE!
In January, 2011 I have to take off my shirt on stage. As of this moment, I would be mortified to do that. My stomach was stretched to the limit carrying my son for 9 months. Having said that, 60 days doesn't sound terribly long but I am told this workout is... well... insane. I have a feeling the next 60 days will be hard and unrelenting.
Stay with me, folks. This is going to get interesting...
